What is event WIFI and why do you need it?

Event WIFI can be a temporary or permanent structure with many ways to accomplish the end result. The most common is a temporary system that is built up of many different pieces of equipment which are all professionally designed to meet your full requirements as the event could only be a few days and this way it is more cost efficient.

Many events don’t have a permanent internet connection, we are able to supply a temporary one located on your site, from there we can wirelessly transmit it across wireless links to different locations across your site, with a WIFI access point installed at the end, this can be used for taking card payments, trade stands and the general public.

Why do you need it?

Due to a larger number of people attending events the local 4G phone masts won’t be able to handle the high number of devices all at one time. This makes it difficult/impossible for all your card machines to take payments. It also means that guests won’t be able to access the internet and it saves members of the public from having to bring cash.

Card Machine Networks
We configure our networks to be secure. This means that you can take card payments and use wireless PDQ terminals at your event using our Wi-Fi to take on site card payments and on the gate tickets. If you are unable to source card machines, please let us know and we will be able to provide some.

Rural locations
Our temporary event WIFI solution works in rural locations, ideal for festivals or concerts that are ‘off the beaten track’.

For more data heavy usage, we can install multiple SIM cards along side our satellite network ensuring that you have the most robust connection through your event.

We would just need line of sight back to our HQ, instead of having to sort out where to plug in, we just switch on the base station and you’re connected in minutes.
